Knowing jesus, making jesus known

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19)

Join us on Sundays

We meet at 10am each Sunday in the school hall of Pennington Infant School.

The video shows where we meet.

Email christopher@anchorchurch.org.uk for more details.

What's it like for Children?

We love welcoming children to Anchor Church. They stay in with us all through the service.

Watch the video to see what it’s like coming to Anchor Church as a child.

Anglican, Evangelical

Anchor Church is part of the Anglican Mission in England (AMiE).

That means we are Anglican, connected to the global Anglican Church through the GAFCON movement. But we are not part of the Church of England.

Our priorities are to know Jesus and to make Him known to others.

Coming up on Sundays

Join us for the next section of Paul’s letter to the Romans, which tells us how we can have new life in Jesus, and how the story of Easter can be our story too!

Want to find out more about Christianity?

This video from Christianity Explored gives a brief outline of the good news of Jesus.

If you’re interested in finding out more about Christianity, how about doing Hope Explored?

Over three sessions, we’ll consider where we find our hope, our peace and our purpose, and how Christians believe we find them all in Jesus!

It’s very relaxed. You can ask whatever you like. There are videos, we look at some Bible passages and we have a discussion.

We will occasionally run Hope Explored with advertised dates. But we can run it any time for you: evenings, daytime, weekends – just get in touch.
