Knowing jesus, making jesus known

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19)

Join us on Sundays

We meet at 10am each Sunday in the school hall of Pennington Primary School (previously known as Pennington Juniors)

This is a new location for us starting this January!

We’ll put together a video of where we meet soon.

Priestlands Road, SO41 8HX

Email christopher@anchorchurch.org.uk for more details.

What's it like for Children?

We love welcoming children to Anchor Church. They stay in with us all through the service.

Watch the video to see what it’s like coming to Anchor Church as a child.

Note this video is from our old location, but it will give you an idea. We’ll put together a video for our new location soon.

321 Course - coming soon!

Got questions about God, the world and you? Discover life according to Jesus.

We will be running the 321 course over four weeks, starting Monday 23rd February, 7-30 – 9pm, in the function room at the Lion and Lamb pub in Pennington. Get a drink at the bar, and then join us for thoughtful videos and conversation.

The course is free but spaces are limited. Email 321@anchorchurch.org.uk to book a place.

What is Christianity?

This video from Christianity Explored gives a brief outline of the good news of Jesus.

Anglican, Evangelical

Anchor Church is part of the Anglican Mission in England (AMiE).

That means we are Anglican, connected to the global Anglican Church through the GAFCON movement. But we are not part of the Church of England.

Our priorities are to know Jesus and to make Him known to others.

Coming up on Sundays

For the first two Sundays in February, and then here and there through the year, we’ll be dipping into the ancient book of Proverbs.

Feel like you could use some of God’s wisdom for how to live your life? Then come and hear what Proverbs has to say about how to live well.
