Knowing jesus, making jesus known

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure (Hebrews 6:19)

join us on sundays

We meet at 10am each Sunday in the school hall of Pennington Infant School

1A Priestlands Road, SO41 8HX

The video shows where we meet.

Email christopher@anchorchurch.org.uk for more details.

Sunday mornings

This August we’ll be going through Matthew 8. When Jesus’ followers saw what He could do, they asked “What kind of man is this?” Clearly not just another messenger, or a good man. Is this a question you have ever asked? The answer is one we all need to hear. For our latest talk, click here.

Sunday Seminars

Occasionally, we also meet on Sunday evenings, in someone’s lounge, to think a bit more about an interesting topic. Here’s what we’ve got planned for the rest of the year.

Guests are always welcome. If you’ve got questions about Christianity, some of these seminars might be just for you!

tots & tinies

Our Tots & Tinies group has a new location: “The Den”, at Pennington Infant School.

More space, lots of toys, and a secure outside play area. All 0-4s and their carers welcome!

Parking easily available in surrounding area.

Find out more about Anchor church

Anchor Church started to meet in 2020. Our priorities are to know Jesus and to make Him known to others.

We are an AMiE Church (Anglican Mission in England).

Want to find out more about christianity?

This video from Christianity Explored gives a brief outline of the good news of Jesus.

If you’re interested in finding out more about Christianity, how about doing Hope Explored?

Over three sessions, we'll consider where we find our hope, our peace and our purpose, and how Christians believe we find them all in Jesus!

It's very relaxed. You can ask whatever you like. There are videos, we look at some Bible passages and we have a discussion.

We will occasionally run Hope Explored with advertised dates. But we can run it any time for you: evenings, daytime, weekends - just get in touch.
