Pastor: Christopher Henderson

Christopher is married to Rachel and they have three children, Bertie, Daisy and Rosie. They moved to the area in 2019 to lead the work that has become Anchor Church. Christopher has worked on the staff of a couple of churches over the last ten years. He was ordained in 2016. He enjoys playing the piano, reading, and running. ASSistant Pastor: James Ivin

James is married to Ann and they have two children. As a family they moved to Anchor Church from Christ Church Westbourne, where James was previously a Ministry Apprentice. James divides his week between teaching music, formal theological studies and serving at Anchor Church. He was ordained as a deacon in 2023. In his spare time James enjoys playing and writing music, reading and following Formula One racing. To contact James, please email

Church Council

The church council is a small group of church members who meet around six times a year to discuss the ministry and mission of Anchor Church. The council members are: Emily Dee, Abby Kinzett, Jane Stredwick, David Beeby, Christopher Henderson, James Ivin.
